Ingredients

1 cup water
1 tsp fresh ginger (grated or sliced)
1–2 tsp honey
1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

Add water and ginger to a small pan.
Boil for 3–5 minutes so the ginger flavor comes out.
Strain the tea into a cup.
Add honey and mix well.
Add lemon juice if you like a little tangy flavor.

Tip

Add a pinch of black pepper or cinnamon for extra warmth and flavor.
